You do not need an account or to write to anyone: everything you can do with your signature is in the confirmation email you received when signing. The email Your signature has been verified carries three links. Each opens a portal page with a confirmation button, so an accidental click does nothing.

Open your signature certificate whenever you want, even if you closed the page.

Stop receiving updates

You will stop receiving emails from that cause. Your signature will keep counting.

Delete your signature

Your signature stops counting and we delete your data. It is final.
The links are personal and carry a key inside. If one stops working, the portal shows This link is not valid or is no longer valid: usually because it was already used or because the signature no longer exists. To sign again, simply do it again from the cause.

What we store about you

The minimum for the signature to exist and be provable:
  • Your name and your email.
  • The date and time of the signature and the country you signed from.
  • Your two choices: whether your name is shown publicly and whether you want updates.
  • The fingerprint of the certificate, which does not allow any data to be reconstructed.
It is not shared with anyone other than whoever organises the cause, who needs it to deliver the petition. If you signed anonymously, your name does not appear on the cause page; the organiser does receive it in their list, because a signature without a name would not count as a signature.

What happens when you delete your signature

It stops counting

It is subtracted from the cause’s counter and disappears from the list of signers.

Your data and your certificate are deleted

Name, email and the rest of the data are removed, and the PDF certificate with them: its download link stops working and the public check answers that it is not on record.

What cannot be deleted

The fingerprint recorded on the blockchain is public and permanent by design, but it contains no personal data and cannot lead to you. It is a number, not a name.
Deleting the signature cannot be undone. If all you want is to stop receiving emails, use Stop receiving updates, which keeps the signature.

Your rights

You can view, correct or ask us to delete your data at any time. For anything the email links do not solve, for example correcting your name, write to support from the help centre stating the cause and the email you signed with. The privacy policy covers the rest.
