With Causfy you stand up for something you care about in two ways: collecting signatures to ask for a change, or raising funds to make it happen. You create the cause from your dashboard. Before it goes public it is reviewed: often an automatic review approves it on the spot, and if it has any doubt it passes it to a person on the team. Once approved, it appears on the public portal and anyone can find it and sign it.
Help lives inside the app. On every screen and every step of the wizard there is a How does this work? link that opens this guide on the right page, without leaving your dashboard. On a computer it opens on the right, so you can read while you fill things in.

When someone signs your cause on the portal, their signature is recorded and you see it added to your dashboard straight away.

The two kinds of cause

When you create a cause you choose a single goal, and that decision shapes everything else.

Collect signatures

You ask someone specific for a change: a city council, a ministry, a company. Each person who backs you signs, and that signature is recorded with a certificate.

Raise funds

You need money for something specific. You set an amount and a date to reach it. Coming soon: today you cannot create fundraising causes or donate from the portal.
Fundraising is on hold. Today you can only create signature causes: the other option shows on screen marked Coming soon and cannot be chosen. You cannot donate from the portal either: pressing Donate shows a Coming soon notice.
When donations return, the money will go to your account or to the cause’s bank account. Causfy does not hold on to it.
A cause cannot pursue both things at once. If you need signatures and money, create two causes and link them to each other from each one’s story.
