Do I need an account to sign?
No. You only need an email you can check right then: we send you a 6-digit code and you confirm the signature with it. Accounts are for people who create and manage causes.

Check your spam folder and make sure you typed the address correctly. After a few seconds Resend code becomes active. The code expires after a few minutes; if it has expired, request a new one with the same button. If it still does not arrive after several attempts, wait a few minutes: the portal limits sending to prevent abuse.

Each email counts once per cause. If you signed earlier and want to change something, delete your signature from the confirmation email and sign again.

Yes. Tick Do not show my name publicly (sign anonymously). Your signature counts just the same, your name does not appear on the cause page and your certificate states that the signature is anonymous. Whoever organises the cause does receive your name in their list, because a signature without a name would not count as a signature.

Your name, your email and the country you signed from, in their list of signatures, to deliver the petition and, if you asked for it, send you updates. With the advanced signature they also receive your certificate. They do not see your password because there is none: there is no account.

Yes, from the age of 14, or the minimum age your country sets to give consent, if higher. Signing a petition is not a contract. To pay for a boost you do need to be of legal age or have the authorisation of a parent or guardian.

No. Each signature is a personal declaration by the person making it, with their name and their email. If someone wants to support the cause, pass them the link and let them sign from their own email.

Delete your signature from the link in the confirmation email and sign again with the correct name. The name cannot be edited afterwards because it is part of the certificate and its fingerprint.

That this person or organisation has proven who they are with their ID document and a liveness check, just like when opening a bank account. Tap the badge to see it explained. The line Campaign verified by Causfy also appears on the signatures card.

A bot protection loads when you sign to prevent automated signatures. Normally you do not have to do anything; if it fails, try again.

The portal is shown in your language (Spanish, English, French, Portuguese, Italian or German) and you can change it with the selector in the header. Causes, however, are in the language their organiser wrote them in; they are not translated.

Every cause goes through a review before it becomes public, the organiser can carry the verified identity badge, and every signature is recorded in a verifiable way. If you see something that should not be there, use Report this cause at the bottom of its page.
